Silvester zum Knast!
Auch dieses Jahr wollen wir wieder gemeinsam mit euch vor die Knastmauern ziehen, um für eine Welt ohne Knäste zu demonstrieren.
Wir wollen den Menschen hinter den Mauern zeigen, dass wir sie nicht vergessen haben und auch weiterhin für eine Gesellschaft ohne Gefängnisse streiten!
Wir wollen hier in Freiburg aber auch für die Menschen demonstrieren, die in anderen Knästen hinter Mauern sind, seien es Menschen in Abschiebegefängnissen in der Festung Europa oder Gefährt*innen aufgrund der Verfolgung von Antifaschistischen Aktionen, in Deutschland Italien und Ungarn.
Knäste sind ein Mittel des Staates, um ein Gesellschaftssystem zu erhalten, dass auf Rassismus, dem Patriarchat, Heteronormativität und weiteren Mechanismen der Unterdrückung aufgebaut ist. Knäste sind keine Lösung für soziale Probleme. Knäste sind ein Mittel der Durchsetzung von Herrschaft und Ausbeutung. Sie sorgen dafür, dass wer unten ist auch unten bleibt. Sie sind nicht reformierbar. Wir lehnen sie ab.

New Year’s Eve in jail!
Once again this year, we want to march with you in front of the prison walls to demonstrate for a world without prisons.
We want to show the people behind the walls that we have not forgotten them and that we will continue to fight for a society without prisons!
But we also want to demonstrate here in Freiburg for the people who are behind walls in other prisons, be it people in deportation prisons in Fortress Europe or prisoners of persecution for anti-fascist actions in Germany, Italy and Hungary.
Prisons are a means of the state to maintain a social system that is built on racism, patriarchy, heteronormativity and other mechanisms of oppression. Prisons are not a solution to social problems. Prisons are a means of enforcing domination and exploitation. They ensure that those at the bottom stay at the bottom. They cannot be reformed. We reject them.
